Refusing credit card to third party

It would seem that Standard Bank branches have indeed different policies and procedures. One would think it would be the same all over but not the case. I have a renewal credit card in possession of Standard Bank Klerksdorp. I have written to Customer services on 27 September just to confirm that indeed my credit card can be handed over to a third party and Lebogang Matebele advised that indeed the credit card can be handed to a third party accompanied by Original signed letter of authorisation, copy of my ID and third party ID book. Well, I have done just that, in fact accompanied by my original ID book and all of the last mentioned but Standard Bank Klerksdorp still refused. I would like the credit card to be sent back to wherever it came from and the fees in connection with this new card to be reversed on credited on my account as I will not be able to make it to Standard bank ANY BRANCH very soon in the near future. Kindly confirm as I cannot have my credit card sitting around just anywhere uncollected. Thank you.
