Refuse to give me an answer

I have received a home loan quotation from every bank in South Africa, except Standard Bank. I also have a very good credit rating which I can and have proven. Yet, my home loan application was declined without any reason. When I request a reason, I am told that they are not allowed to provide me with a reason why it was declined.<br> <br> Is this due to ******? Why can Standard Bank not at the very least give a reason why the application was declined?
