Refusal of warranty payment
I was sold an extended warranty policy by Standard Bank after purchasing my Toyota Yaris T3 (Credit Agreement states 2009 model) and the policy was sold to me on 22 March 2012 the consultant advised that my warranty would expire soon. I then took out the policy thinking my warranty was ending and that is was a 3 year warranty.

I then took my vehicle for a service in August 2012 and was advised that my vehicle was actually a 2008 model I then contacted my dealership and let them know of this and they reimbursed me with an amount of R10 300.00 as that was the difference between the 2008 and 2009 vehicle model, I also requested that new credit agreement papers be sent to me which have not been sent.

My vehicle alternator was faulty on the 15 April 2015 and Toyota Imperial contacted my warranty providers on the 16 April 2015 they then advised that my policy was invalid as the policy was sold to me after my warranty had expired which is not the right policy, they deduced this because it turns out my vehicle Natis certificate states that my vehicle is infact a 2008 model however when I bought the warranty policy I was not aware of this fact.

I paid for my repairs and need a refund
