Rediculous security questions and processes

I just came from SB where I spent 30 minutes holding to connect to the card division to request a new card. I was then asked security questions before they would order my new card - questions like 'which bank do you have your homeloan with, which service provider do you have a cellphone account with, what is the balance on your cellphone account and more. When I refused to answer these questions (they've already confirmed my ID and phone number), they refused to order my card and I had to get a cashier to assist.

This is after I already ordered a new card, but they sent it back when I did not collect after 40 days, with no warning. I tried to collect several times earlier, but standing in line for an hour just to collect a bank card seems completely rediculous.

They should really relook their systems. This was the most frustrating banking experience I've ever had - and now I will still have to go and stand in line AGAIN to fetch my new card. I took time off work to go at a less busy time today. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!
