Really just a STANDARD bank!!
I visited the Lansdowne branch on Saturday to apply for a small loan (R8000) as I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and needed emergency cash to have my car fixed, only to be told that I cannot apply as my salary does not reflect for 6 months yet!! Utter *******!! I have banked with Standard Bank for almost 5 years and every month there is a salary reflecting!! This is very poor service from my so called bank and I feel like changing to the red bank as they approved my loan within 10 minutes!! I would expect an external bank to ask for 6 months payslips and not the bank that I use!! First the red bank beat Standard Bank with my husbands student loan, and now this, you guys really are a STANDARD bank!!
