RCP Loan repayment
This past month I've been enquiring about the repayment on my RCP loan account. Since 2015 Standard Bank debited this loan account whereby the outstanding balance remained unchanged, and I was informed that the repayment covers mostly the interest rates, insurance cover and admin fees and only a small portion of less than R100 towards the outstanding balance.
The bank concluded that I need to increase my repayment amount in order to reducing the capital balance and currently I am registered as a slow payer on their system.
Standard bank calculated a repayment total of R 806 to repay my RCP loan of R 29 000 and now they hold me accountable for their error.
