R700 in bank charges
Good morning, i did an atm deposit to standard bank and the bank charges accumulated to aprox R700. I did this as the bank said it would be cheaper than doing a direct deposit. This is totally unacceptable. R700 is alot of money and i did not intend paying that much, it is a *******, aswell why does the atm not except a once off instead of doing it in dribs and drabs, as a paying and loyal customer i find it totally unacceptable. I need to be refunded atleast partially, or i might aswell have done a cash deposit.

My frustration is that with my cheque account facility i was told that i have 3 free atm deposits per month, which is the 1st time i have made use of the facility, as the bank branch i was at i was told it is cheaper to do an aym deposit. In my case i did one transaction only but the atm can only allow so many notes and therefor kept making me put in notes a little at a time. Had i known this was the case i would not have wasted my time, effort and money doing that, i would have made 1 direct deposit inside the bank, as i am saying . This was seen as 1 transaction as i intended to do 1 direct deposit and your system and the atm machine does not allow that.
