R660 Transaction FEE?ARe You NUTS??

I opened a standard bank cheque account with you late last year. I have to say. My experience with standard bank up to now has been nothing short of bad service delivery. Your Internet banking service is poor, your USSD service is poor. And the notion of you guys being more affordable then FNB is a big myth. Yesterday you charged me R660 for a R50 000 deposit that I did into my account. This is an outrageous amount of money for a transaction fee. None of your staff did even think about warning me that this will be the fee for a cash deposit Please confirm if this fee is correct. If So, then i will Redoubtably move back to First National Bank. As there is no way this would've happent to me with them. They always use to ask me as their client am I sure I wanna do cash deposit. this will be the costs involved and this are the alternatives available that will be cheaper for me. I am furious about this R660. Please confirm if this charges are correct please.
