R52 RAND PER MONTH FOR ACHIVE STATEMENTS VS. ABSA FREE

<p>I requested 3 years staments for a reason. I was told that I have to pay R 52-00 per month since STANDARDBANK assume that I received my statements EACH month. However the postal strikes and lack of services at the Post Office caused that my post was returned to senders 10 months after enquiry more than once about my letters send to me. ABSA in contridiction do not charge you for history statements and it's e-mailed to you in seconds. I first was told it take 48 hours then 3 workingdays. How could I charged for statements that 80% of the time I did not receive and for what do we pay atronomic service fees each month. It is no wonder that a lot of clients move their accounts to CAPITEC as they are charging for most of their services less than any bank. Unless STANDARDBANK can prove me wrong that I received statements each and every month I think it is more than outrageous that I have to pay so much for history statements.</p>
