R50.00 withdrawal fees

<p>I could not believe that Standard bank charges R50.00 withdraw fees (they call it an access fees) on credit card withdrawals for other banks' cllients barring the normal withdrawal fee, R15.26 in this case. I withdrew R350.00 and funny enough, since Standard bank does not have access to my account, the withdrawal amount is showing as R400.00 on my credit card statement.</p> <p>My bank could not assist me with this as the amount is reflected as total withdrawn. I tried to call Standard bank but they refer me back to my bank. This is an ******* activity to start with and to be charged this much over an above the normal withdrawal fees (which are reflected as line items on the bank statements) is rediculuos and this needs to be investigated by cosumer protection..</p>
