R25 000 interest without explanation

I have requested a statement on my home loan account as the premiums jumped from R7 600 to R9 000 and trying understand why. I have requested an statement and saw a transaction of R25 000 was credit on my account. When I requested an explanation I received a response that I need to contact the legal department to get a explanation on the transaction. I have logged it with customer service and are still waiting for feedback. R25 000 without an explanation is worth investigating. Please be careful before taking out a home loan with Standard Bank as they will try to keep you hooked by adding cost often as possible. if we don't check your statement they will take everything from you.
