R2 shortfall almost destroyed SBSA! Shocking

I have been getting harassing calls from pvt numbers 'claiming' to be Standard Bank and constantly responded saying that I would not want to confirm any personal details, including my ID number to any unknown caller. The voice would then tell me to go my my nearest branch.

After a week of this repeat calls, I eventually get a call that shows SBSA Vehicle and Asset finance. I answer, go through the security questions and this is where I lost the plot ...

The call was to say that I had paid my monthly installment but had shorpaid them R1.25 / R1.50

I want to express my absolute disgust at the harassment experienced for a measly R2 by Standard Bank Vehicle and Asset Finance!

As simple carry over of the (R1.25 - yes One rand and twenty five cents - let's call it TWO RAND) shortfall would have had little to no impact on their business and even the fact that I asked the Customer Service agent if we could allocate this shortfall to my next payment, I received a shocking response saying "We really need that money please"

Wow! Revolting service from SBVAF!!! Sad to know that my R1.25 almost brought Standard Bank to a standstill ROFLMAO

Thank goodness that my very recent home loan application (this week) was declined and I have closed all other accounts with SBSA - sad that I still have this Finance arrangement but will no doubt be rid of them very soon. But my new home is bonded elsewhere THANK GOODNESS!
