Punished for honest mistake

A month ago the treasurer at our church (we use FNB) mistakenly deposited a pastor's salary (Garth Lombard) into the Standard Bank account of his deceased father (Francis Lombard) who previously worked at the church. The treasurer filled in the required documentation and furnished proof of the transaction. For the most part subsequent attempts to find out about the progress in the matter have been ignored. Telephones aren't answered and emails aren't responded to. I have also attempted to bring about resolution to the problem with the same miserable result. No one gets back to me, either by phone or email. This is not an insubstantial amount of money, which we need for our Missions Conference at the end of October. Please help. Pastor Wayne Gordon
