Property will never be yours.

The request is for Standard Bank to reply in writing answering the questions below based on the following example.

Example: 1) Property purchased 8 years ago and all instalments paid to date. 2) Bond signed for R800 000.00 3) Current statement amount is R690 000.00 4) The owner wants to sell the property and Standard Bank send a settlement value of R850 000.00

Notes: Please note that the settlement value is R50 000.00 more than the original purchase price and 8 years installments paid.

Questions: 1) How is it possible that Standard Bank wants a settlement of R850 000.00 after paying the property for 8 years, even more as per the original bond app**** for? 2) What is the use of a statement if Standard Bank knows that they will keep you in the bond for a life time? 3) What is the use of selling the property and Standard Bank wants you to sign an acknowledgement of debt for another 60 instalments even though the property is sold?
