Professional Banking Disappointment

I’ve had quite a disappointing start to Professional Banking. I joined under the guise that I would be able to get a competitive interest rate on car finance as I was in the market for a new car. However, despite my transactional bankers efforts, my application has been declined, with no apparent reason. I have a good credit score, good payment history and earn enough to finance a car. However, the Standard Bank credit team has declined my application. I feel as though I was sold a dream about professional banking, only to be left feeling anxious and frustrated. Weirdly, all other banks have accepted my application yet I have been declined as a private banking customer at Standard Bank.
