7 Months ago I moved my account from Absa bank to standard bank. After all the promises from the branch I was most upset with the service received. I was told that I would qualify for an overdraft facility after 6 months. After that period the system would generate an amount. I waited patiently only to be told that I have to wait longer. I was told to take out a R10 000 loan and when the overdraft is granted I could pay off the loan. I needed the overdraft for an emergency operation. Needles to say no overdraft and a loan and then my account was overdrawn which I rectified. Now my credit score has slipped and I get told to wait 3 more months. If I had know the ******* info given to me was incorrect I would have rather moved my account to Capitec bank that does not try to rip me off for a ****py service and incorrect information. Disgusted in the service received and cant wait to move my banking to Capitec.
