Prestige Banking not so Prestige!!!

Hi <br> I have been battling with Standard bank & my prestige banker Theresa Julius! My cheque card was declining at McDonalds and this is so embarrassing for me!! To get my account sorted out. They put a stop on my account for no reason without any notes and it cost me to go to a branch to have this block removed (45min of my time). This was unblocked within 2 days. My cheque card still doesn't work and I've taken it to a branch and they say there's nothing wrong with my card. I used my debit card last night and even his is declining and the call centre advises there is no block??? I mean Standard bank has now embarrassed me more than once. I thought prestige banking should save me time not cost me more time and I mean bank charges are almost double!! For double the amount of problems!! This is ridiculous! It's now a week later and still not resolved and my Prestige banker Theresa Julius is not getting back to me??? Very Presige??? I am opening a Platinuim Cheque Account at FNB as I am sure I wouldn't have 1% of the problems with FNB. Maybe Standard bank should send their staff for courses and show them how customers should be treated! Standard Banks elite banking offers more!!!
