14 Aug 2020, 14:29This was the response i have received from Standard Bank, please can someone advise me what next steps i can take, as this info below is not factual. Powerball numbers does not have to be a sequence, but the numbers need to be matched on the ticket.
Now it is not about the money anymore, it’s about the principle and the manner in which Standard Bank is handling this and giving out false information. i have read the rules on Ithuba Website and the info below is false.

Good day Mr Somaru
Thank you once again for allowing us the opportunity to investigate your concerns and we apologise for the delayed outcome.
Please be advised that the matter has been reviewed and unfortunately your claims is declined as our records shows that the numbers played do not match the winning number by Ithuba.
The actual POWERBALL number is 13 and cannot be taken into count as it was not played as POWERBALL number as the POWERBALL number from Ithuba must match with the POWERBALL number customer had played with.
Your numbers shows the played POWERBALL number as 12. So among 2-43-12 and 13., 12 and 13 cannot be considered as matching numbers. This means you had matched only 2 and 43 and there is no winning division for matching 2 numbers as per Ithuba.
With the information above, we regret to advise that the claim remains a decline.
Trust this clarifies the Bank position herein and the matter is closed on my end.
