Poor Service Standard BAnk

I wrote a review here a couple of weeks ago and was happy to have somebody from Std Bank contact me quickly to resolve my complaint ie to simply close a credit card account. After supplying a written letter and other details I was assured the account was closed. Well of course when I checked yesterday it is still not and that is why I'm trying again. How can such simple request be so difficult and why was I **** to?
