Poor service from Standard Bank, not addressing my concerns

Standard Bank has been playing games in resolving/addressing my issues, it is very frustrating and this matter has dragged for weeks now. Really now Standard Bank, is this how you treat your customers when they had a Will at your bank and have passed on? I'm sure that my mother was advised that a Will would make things easier when she has passed on BUT now I'm sure that she's not at peace.

I had asked that Standard Bank address all the issues that I have raised BUT Standard Bank just sends Standard Trust to tell me the same thing that they have been saying since the beginning of the year. Now Standard Trust has advised that it's either we pay the shortfall or they can surrender the Estate. This is after the delays and failing us as the Executor, now Standard Bank wants to pass onto us , their mess. Had Standard Bank explained the Executor to my mother or even surrendered a year ago,the family was willing to pay the Shortfall(at the time) and would've dealt with the municipality. Since the delays by Standard Bank, a lot has changed, municipal rates/debt has increased, the shortfall has gone up and resulting to the proceeds from sale of Property, being swallowed up by the Estate. This goes to show what I have been saying about having a Will at Standard Bank, it was drafted to benefit Standard Bank and not my mother.

Standard Bank is demanding that we pay the Shortfall, pay the Executor's fees and pay for the claim of the Standard Bank credit card . It's all about Standard Bank, that's why I had raised questions about their financial advice , surely financial advice is conducted to avoid such situations. We are advised by Standard Trust that the Estate would have a Shortfall even after receiving proceeds from a sale of Property. No other institution has claimed against the estate, Standard Bank *********ly created this situation, to benefit.

Please Standard Bank address my issues that I have raised 3weeks ago, it's pathetic that an institution like Standard Bank would take a week just to respond(not the acknowledgement on this platform), we have to wait for Standard Trust to give their weekly feedback then take that as response from Standard Bank

Standard Bank does not show any care about me and my family, maybe it is a bank for certain people, maybe if I was from a prominent family or I was education then Standard bank would have shown some care. We feel disregarded and disrespected by the way Standard Bank has dealt with this matter.

There's No response or even acknowledgement from Standard Bank, it has been 2days without any word from the bank. I don't know whether we have to wait for Standard Trust weekly feedback or it is just a lack of care to respond. I am almost certain that Standard Bank is for certain people, my family has been disrespected and treated like a No body. I curse the day that my mother took Financial Advice(a Will) with standard Bank. She must be turning in her grave now, surely she must've thought that her beloved bank was going to take care of her finances when she's gone. Instead , Standard Bank has caused pain and suffering.

Instead of preserving my mother's legacy, Standard Bank drafted a Will that has a Shortfall(Estate), proceeds from a sale of Property being swallowed up by the Estate because Standard Bank has claimed from the Estate and they want Executors fees. This is the worse business conduct any person can wish for. It is not wise to take out a Will or Financial Advice with Standard Bank, has been through the worse Financial times because of Standard Bank. Besides Standard Bank being unable to foresee the Shortfall on the Estate, we still don't understand why the Estate would have over R200 000 debt. Only a Standard Bank Credit Card(R44 0000), claimed from the Estate ,which goes to show that Standard Bank drafted the Will in order for them to benefit from the Estate.

My mother's legacy(Property being sold), will benefit Standard Bank(Executors fees) and the family will be getting nothing. This is the worse treatment and ********* business conduct that anyone can receive. Standard Bank has no ethical values, does not care about ordinary people. There's no explanation to the delays in dealing with this matter and they are not addressing any of the issues raised. I plead with Standard Bank , to at least resolve this matter for my late mother(Standard Bank client) so that she can finally rest in peace. Anyone at Standard Bank that still has values, I plead with you to assist resolve this matter. We are struggling to find closure, of losing our mother. Each and everyday the pain is getting worse because of the delays or lack of response.
