Poor service
I have been a Standard bank customer for quite a number of years now. I must say I am very disappointed with their service lately. I made a request in the beginning of the month for the monthly debit order to be removed, the consultant I spoke to said it is not possible and advised that I could only have my debit order removed unless I make no payments for 3 full months, which was a ridiculous advise. I then requested for a bi weekly payment which she knew nothing of and said she would log it and someone would revert to me with feedback. I got a call on the 16th of May saying I have not made a payment; which was a suprise to me because my debit order is due to the first of every month. It turns out the consultant I spoke to amended the debit order to the 15th of every month, which was in no way close to what I have asked. Now myaccout is in arrears and because of a someone that did not know how to do their job properly. I have been calling back and forth for this mess to be fixed, all I have been getting is being transferred from customer service to credit department. I am exhausted of this whole situation. An email that I have sent for the debit order and the bi weekly payment has not been responded to. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by Standard bank.
