Poor service

Good afternoon Below you will see an email sent to you on the 29 March 2020. I received an acknowledgement say I would receive a reply within 48 hours. I did receive a call from your ***** Department wanting to know about the ***** on my account. I don’t think you read my email, as I never said there was ***** on my account. All I asked was that you close my account, because the address on my account was changed to an address I do not have. You Standard Bank changed the address, I suggest you check your records to see who changed it. This was obviously another customer of yours asking for an address change and it was done on the wrong account. Since the call from your ***** department I have heard nothing more from you. Please send this email to someone senior. If I don’t hear from your I will sent this email to “Hello Peter” Thank you A N Hartgill

Good morning I would like you to close my Master Card account. The reason is that you have changed my address to Port Alfred. I have never been to Port Alfred let alone lived there. A few years ago you also changed my address to an incorrect address, but you also changed my name on the account. It would appear there are no checks to see that amendments to customers’ accounts are done to the correct account. Also I had to collect my new card at Greenstone Branch, this took 1 hours 20 minutes. Going from chair to chair as if it was a government department. After collecting the card I noticed the address was incorrect, so a few days later I went back to the branch, with my ID and my municipal account. It took 40 minutes to see a consultant who was very unhelpful. My municipal account had my Box number, but I wanted my street address recorded for my card account. This I was told could be done as you scan the municipal account address. I was told I should go change the address on my municipal account. I was verified by my finger print as well, but it could not be done. My ID no is ***. Any balance remaining can be credited to my FNB savings Acc no *** Thank you A N Hartgill Please advise me once this is done
