Poor online application process!
I app**** for a revolving credit facility on Standard Bank's website on 02/05/2018. It was approved, and I received an email on the same day stating that a courier would be in contact to collect a copy of my ID and proof of address - after which the account would be finalized and funds paid out. To date (04/05/2018) I have not heard from the couriers. After making numerous calls to Standard Bank's call center (was kept on hold for at least 15 mins each time), I finally manage to speak to Crystal in their online division - who advised that the email message I received is INCORRECT. They no longer send out couriers to collect documents. I had to email my documents to ********** The communication from Standard Bank has been shocking to say the least! I am still waiting for someone to respond to my email and acknowledge that everything is in order.
