Poor ********** protection process

I was completely disappointed in Standard bank on Sat morning, I saw a ********** deduction from my account from for R99 from UPS NCONN insurance as a debit order, I called the ***** line and then lady then said it wasn't for them as I must have setup the debit order in the bank, she says she was going to transfer me to another line ***if I'm disputing a deduction, I held on the line for about 30mins no answer only music plays which I find disgusting service as money was ****** from my account. Then I tried a different number ***the same held on the line for about 15mins, then I decided to get dressed as I was actually on my way out, I then tried again line just went off didn't ring, tried different number the same thing, then I had no choice but to go into the bank. I went to the Claremont branch , I then stood in a queue for almost an hour, then the consultant reversed the monies and says I just have to keep monitoring my account, when I asked to have it blocked she advised she can't really block it because if they change the date or the amount it will still go through, she then explained SBSA was in the process of coming up with a way for clients to verify debit orders before it is approved, she then proceeded to say but if she puts on the stop order on the deduction I will be charged a fee, charged a FEE, it is Standard banks responsibility to make sure my account is safe why the hell should I have to pay a fee. That entire ordeal took over 2 hours from my morning, my brother had the very same thing happen to him a few weeks prior he banks with FNB, it took him all of 2mins to reverse the monies and block the deduction from his phone, shocking! Standard bank if definitely not moving forward . . . . I am seriously considering moving to a different bank as this scenario concerns me a great deal.
