Poor communication and service from VAF Standard Bank

Good day.

September 2020 Standard bank called me to ask if i would like to move my vehicle finance to them. I then agreed to it. Earlier this year they contact me asking about my NATIS, i don't deal with this and i was not aware that it should not have been delivered to me. The lady asked me to send her a picture of it and i did so not aware of what actually is going also no one telling me the situation.

On the 13/07/2021 i go to renew my cars license disc only to find out that my car has been marked ''Unroadworthy" i was confused as i did not have any infringements against my name. Did some research and all signs pointed towards the bank. I then contacted them only to find out that no one is willing to take any form of responsibility regarding this matter and all they keep trying to do is make it my fault and problem.

We then call the Traffic department and figured that they MFC put it in to my personal name and then to Standard Bank after ( which Standard bank should have communicated to MFC during the deal)

We then get to an agreement whereby they send a proxy with me to DEKRA Hatfield Pretoria , only to just tell me what i already know and that is that there is nothing wrong with my car as it is still pretty new. I will need to pay for it upfront and they will give my money back if it was caused by them. They now refuse to give my money back and basically say it is my fault/problem.

The fact remains that if i had to stay with MFC this would not have happened and therefore i should have been warned or told in the T's and C's.

I was driving on the road *******ly for more than 6 months ,they deal with these things daily and should at least have told me. What if i got into an accident , my insurance would have pointed me away or what if i got into a roadblock and my car got impounded. The thought of the just give me traumatic stress.

Things only went wrong once Standard Bank got involved. If this matter was discussed to me i would have gladly taken responsibility but it was not. Now fingers just get pointed and i get told it is my problem.
