Poor Client Service & Communication
The entire SBSA Group, staff and service has fallen by the wayside.
We as paying clients have to pay excessive monthly fees but when we require service, we are either ignored or just don't receive any form of communication from any member of staff.
I sent an email to my branch (Mall of the South) requesting them to waive a fee, as there was yet another unauthorized debit passed on my account. Follow up emails was sent to both the point of contact at the branch and Prestige Banking with no follow up from there end.
To date, I have sent 4 separate emails to no avail.
30 days later I have not had the courtesy of an email reply, voice message etc, as apparently the request appears to be insignificant.
I have requested and instructed the branch to close my current account by COB today, and surprisingly again, no response from the branch. It does not matter which branch you move to within the SBSA group as the service is exactly the same wherever you go = non existent.
No "out of office replies"no corporate etiquette and no service level.
Gone are the days where we as clients were treated on priority level, but i assume this also has to do with your level of portfolio.
As a previous member of staff within the SBSA group I am shocked to say the least, in which way the service level is just non-existent and people / clients are treated as numbers.
Perhaps one should request a report from Viceroy (Capitec incident) to obtain some form of reaction to a simple request.
25 years of dedication ito customer service does not pay nor are they remotely moved.
Please arrange to close the account mentioned in my email addressed to ********** as I will no longer be amused by the *********** service received from the entire SBSA Group.
