PnP Transaction duplication ***7 to date

Standing in Fourno's today, looking like an absolute idiot while trying to pay for a colleagues’ birthday cake - having the poor teller try four times to put a transaction through on my Standard Bank account – which I know has funds in, I had to get my friend to pay cash for the transaction. When I logged on to my cell phone banking (although I could see that there was technically almost R 1000.00 available) I could not withdraw it and could not see what transaction had gone through. When I got back to the office, I logged onto internet banking and I noticed there was a Pnp transaction from yesterday which had been duplicated. I called Prestige Banking on ***and as soon as I told the lady there was a Pnp transaction that had been duplicated she knew what I was talking about. She said they are aware of the problem that it has been happening since the 7th of February. But on asking when it would be resolved she had no answer. Not only did they not bother to send out a broadcast to their clients to notify us of the issue, but we are also now incurring bank charges for “insufficient funds”, not to mention the embarrassment and inconvenience of suddenly not having any money left in your account with no clear indication of when or where it will be returned. This is shocking! So much for Moving Forward?? #movingbackwards #standardbanksucks
