Please release our hard earned tax paid funds

Please can someone assist. We have been begging standard bank to release my husband's funds for over a year now. I am a South African citizen born and raised married to a British national in community of property. His boss paid his salary into his std bank account 3 years ago already but the account had been closed due to his visa exspiring. Instead of returning the funds to the sender his boss they took the funds into a suspense account. We have tried everything to get the funds back to avail. His visa is still with home affairs which has a 2 year plus back log. He is legal as he gets stamped by home affairs every 3 months. Standard bank fail to see this. How can this be legal, surely I have a right to these funds too as we are married in community of property. We have even asked for standard bank to return the funds to the sender and they won't. I have asked what happens to the money should my husband leave the country and their response was nothing they would keep it. What the hell. Standard Bank please help we need our money this has caused allot of stress. I have recently miscarried and we need the funds to return to the U.K. regards Mrs N Lindsey
