Please let my father rest in peace

My father died without anything, no estate. no need for an executor. Death did not need to be lodged in the High Court as estate was nil (as advised by undertakers). I tried to do the right thing by taking his ID and death certificate to the bank to close his account and notify them. They would not help as they want documents from the high court. I (who am not responsible for this actually) am not prepared to go to the high court. there is no estate. He has R1.46 in his bank account. I emailed the debt collectors (trying to collect money on a credit card that he does not owe them - long story) the death certificate. No response. Please note - you can leave all his accounts open accruing interest - it really isn't my problem - it's yours. My fathers bank affairs have nothing to do with me as I did not sign surety for his credit card. I have done what I can to notify you of his death. the rest is now up to you. PS. Tried to phone the bayside branch. Never got through. the bank operator trying to put the call through found nobody at the branch. This is obviously why my 3 secure messages on interest banking have never been responded to. Great service all around.
