Platinum card offered but not delivered

About 2 weeks ago someone phoned and said they would like to offer me a platinum card. They went through the benefits, asked me a few questions and then said the card would be delivered shortly. I haven't heard anything and tried to follow up with Mastercard yesterday but got sent from pillar to post and the issue has not been resolved. Nobody can tell me who phoned me and I now believe someone may have been trying to commit *****.<br> <br> <br>
