PLAIN STUPID AND MISLEADING

I am self employed and have been for the past 5 or 6 years. I app**** online via the Standard Bank website for a credit card and received immediate approval. Since I am self employed, the website made it clear that I should submit my last IT34 and previous since month bank statements. Since we are in the middle of the tax season I submitted the IT34, past six month bank statements and a letter from. my accountant confirming my earnings over the past six months. Standard Bank agent called me this morning to inform me that "we dont process "self employed" online". (and that its calls are recorded). So are mine, for the record. Now I have to go into a branch with all my documentation and reapply! This will show up as two enquiries on my credit profile! WHY IS THIS NOT STATED ON YOUR WEBSITE? WHO IS RUNNING THE PLACE? I earn well over R100 000 per month and Standard Bank doesn't want my business? And this with a spotless credit record. Well I am sure another bank will!
