Phishing, ****ming Standard Bank

Good day I received a call from (+***6) at 15.40 from a lady called Nadia Rule explaining she is from the ***** department at Standard Bank and noticed I tried to do an online purchase from Vodacom and the transaction were not successful and she is trying to resolve my issue. (I tried 4 times according to her and I am unaware of trying). Asked me a few questions including my bank card number back and front which I simply supp**** and that information was compromised. She then proceeded to send me OTP numbers in order for her to process the online order (as she thought I had signal issues) and I needed to give her telephonically the OTP numbers. I refused. She then put me through to the manager of the ***** department and he send me four additional OTP numbers and a decline sms on my standard bank app. Again I refused and he proceeded to explain very annoyed if I wasn't prepared to work with him I will lose money from my account and I shouldn't blame Standard Bank but myself. I asked him to phone me back as my phones battery was about to die but he interrupted saying you had enough time asking so I am sure the battery will last long enough to give time the OTP. I dropped the call not giving any OTP numbers as i was scanned 2 years ago using exactly the same modes operandi. The reference numbers Nadia supp**** is WRES926 and BRKN472. I did phone the Standard bank ***** division and my card was stopped so by the grace of God R16000-00 wasn't taken from my account. They did however use the card details (silly me) and paid Uber R133-22 in Cape Town. I feel if Standard Bank doesn't do something about the security of client details I will be forced to move my account to a different institution and that will be sad I have been with them since 1987.

Kind Regards M Pretorius
