Personal Loan

I took out a loan with standard bank in January, and unfortunately was retrenched by the end of September. I submitted my documents at the bank to claim from the insurance but I got a call on (26/11/2015) informing that the insurance will not cover because I was employed on a fixed term contract or it is still within the waiting period. The reality is that 6 months has passed so the fixed term contract is the one that stands according to the consultant who did not introduce himself. The contract in my possession has no stipulation about fixed term employment contract, the bank consultant did not inform me of the condition.
