PAYMENT HOLLIDAY REQUEST NOT EVEN CONSIDERED YET

On th 22/4/20 i send a mail to deptcarecentre@standardbank .co.za, as this was the advertised mail to use if you had financial problem due to covid-19 lock down.

I asked for a payment holiday for 3months with supporting documentation as to my situation financially.

I got a auto response stating that it will take 7- 10 working days for a reply.

Within the allowed period I did get a response from Thandi Sibande at SBIB Claims Department stating the following... and quote straight from the mail:

Account number/s: 36*****85

"Thank you for getting in contact with Standard Bank. I would like to inform you that your request for the <3 month payment holiday> has been referred for further consideration to a Debt Restructure Officer.

You will be contacted within 10 working days with the outcome of your application.

Kind Regards DCC Support

FYI: SBIB Contact Details SBIB Claims Department: *** "

On inquiring after 10 days i was told by Thandi that i had to inquire from...... the first mail address that I used, which only give auto responses that it will take 10 day to get feedback................................!!!!!!!!!!!

Up until now no one has responded with news about my request.!!!

At ABSA,FNB etc people in the same situation had their answer weeks ago, but not at Standard Bank at all, here they only send you on a loop back to square 1!!!

At least I know somebody from the bad dept department will phone soon, as they always do their job to harass you with payment demands.

THIS IS PATHETIC SERVICE!!!!!!!!
