Paying Standard Bank for an amount I was never informed of!!!

I’m so disappointed with the incompetence of your staff. I did a change of debit order for my car finance. I was never informed of any extra costs that I will incur for doing this. I took some sort of insurance that started this month and I witnessed my debit that there was an increase which I was happy the car is paid up. To my surprise I get a missed call from Standard Bank that I must call you back and when I do I’m told I have a short payment. I asked the consultant what is it for cause there is a difference from the previous to this month on my debit order , it was more. She said it’s for administration fees, I said that I was never told about these fees, or any amount for that matter. The sad part is that I’m told the money accumulates daily and it becomes a negative next to my name. And I asked her how was I supposed to do a payment I have no knowledge of? Why did Standard Bank not debit this money? The issue i have at the end of the day I had to pay this money and on record it shows I’m a bad payer!!! Of an amount I was not even told about by the bank... my installments I was informed of , the amount t for this insurance I took with Standard Bank I was made aware of, why was I not informed of this one??!!!

I’m ****ed to the core by standard bank and the I’m sorry I got from the consulted today is welcome but it still does not bring closure to me. I’m a new client and I’m really not happy with this bank at all. Please go bank and listen to these two calls and hear what was discussed with me!!! And ask yourselves why I was held accountable to pay for an amount that was not disclosed to me!!!
