Paying insurance on a vehicle that is not driveable

I bough a vehicle from Nissan with Standard bank finance.

My grandson was driving the vehicle and was involved in a accident but the insurance did not want to payout as I failed to list him as a driver.

Please note that the insurance that did not want to pay out was independent and not from Standard bank finance.

The vehicle is now standing at a Panel beater but it is to expensive to repair.

I cancelled the insurance from the independent insurance company as there is no need for insurance as the vehicle is not driveable.

Standard bank than added their own insurance.

I called many times and have been send around the block without anyone able to assist in this matter.

The original payment on the vehicle was set at R3500 per month but now I am almost paying R6000 per month for a vehicle that is not drivable.

Your assistance on this matter would be highly appreciated.
