Paying Insurance but Contractors not qualified

Claim was lodged for rain damaged, Standard bank appointed Appollos Builders. They came out 2 days later only to find the geyser is the problem. Then the geyser where fixed, then Appollos had to replace the ceiling board. They damaged the paint on the wall and did not even fix it properly. I asked them to fix another ceiling board from the previous job seeing that's its bubbling, only to find they used Polifula to fix it. Then after another storm I started having a roof leak. Appollos now claim its not due to the weather but Maintenance. But you can see it is rain damaged. Standard bank said they will send a qualified person to look at the roof. But sadly Im still waiting. Why must a person pay insurance if you do not get a service.
