Paying for written off car
My Hyundai i20, financed by standard bank was written off officially on the 4th of July and standard bank vehicle and asset finance was aware of this fact by the 15th of July (more so since the vehicle was also insured with them). Last month they debited from my account for this vehicle, although they had already asked me for my insurance details and talking to the insurance brokers about the settlement fee (I sent the proof of comprehensive insurance on the 17th of July), Hollard insurance brokers settled this amount by last month end (last I spoke to them was 4th of August and they said it was done already). The vehicle was already removed from internet and phone apps by the end of July. This month again I am billed for the same vehicle.
The premiums for my new vehicle (Hyundai accent) are suppose to start in end September and is already showing on my internet banking platforms. I will go reverse these debit orders as I complained on this platform on the 14th of August but nothing has been resolved to this day. I also haven't received my money back from last month (only the insurance premium was returned). Somebody please fix this ASAP because it such an inconvenience for me.
