Paying for something that i don't have

I have been paying R75 per month service fees on my Standard credit card although I have a positive balance. I phoned the call center today and i was told that i am paying R35 for my credit card and R40 for a Garage card. Thing is i don't have a garage card, and according to Standard Bank's records i have last use this Garage card in 2007. They also confirmed that the Garage card expired in 2009. The person at the contact center (was a nice guy, i must admit ) said that Standard bank can only reimburse me for the last 6 months. Apparently this garage card is linked to my credit card and that is why i pay for it every single month, although i am sure i have not own a Garage card for the past 9 years and have not received a new one or signed for a new garage card the past 9 years. That did not stop Standard Bank to deduct a service fee for a garage card every month for the past 9 years. Maybe that is a system problem and i am happy to bring it under your attention. My questions is: 1. who asked for the Garage card to be linked? 2. Would i have been able to use the Garage card (that i had 9 years ago) if it expired, and if not, why am i paying for something i don't have, couldn't use and what's a garage card worth if expired, else than paying for it every single month for at least 9 years? Standard bank please settle this matter. Your reputation is much more worth than the R4320 you erroneously charged me the last 9 years. To say we will give you your money back for the last 6 months is not right. My ref number logged is ********** 394 . I hope to hear from you soon.
