Patience tested to the limit
This is a follow up review from one posted on 22 November 2019. If Standard bank tells me on 23 Nov 2019 that I will be assisted I am not sure whether to believe them when I have had to go through the following: On 31 October 2019 I sent an email to *** which address I found on the bank’s website. On 1 November 2019 I received an email from Megan Scullard (Office of the CEO/Executive & Escalated complaints) asking me to send the details of the complaint so that she can assist me. On 08 November 2019 I sent a detailed complaint to her in order for her to assist or indicate which the relevant department to assist me is. On 19 November 19, when I did not heard from her and not receiving any acknowledgement I sent her a reminder regarding my complaint. I also sent an email to *** asking them for their assistance as Megan has not been able to assist. I copied Megan Scullard on the same email. A while later after sending the email to the aforementioned email, Megan Scullard then sent an email apologizing for the delay in coming back to me and asking me to resend my complaint. I forwarded her the email and asked her to indicate whether she is able to assist and if not refer me to the relevant persons who can assist. On 25 November 2019 I received an email from the chargebacks email address I has also sent my complaint to, in which I was copied, together with a Mr. Danny Ndlovu. This email was sent by Ms Varonique Sayers and she was instructing Megan to assist me and also indicating that the emails sent to her personal inbox will not be actioned. On the same day, 25 November 2019 and based on the experience I have had with the complaint I personally escalated my complaint to *** , which is an address I found on Mr Sayers’ email. The only thing I received was an acknowledgement of the email from an autoreply and nothing ever since. Now I am wondering if Standard bank is daring me and wanting to see what I will do as clearly they are not interested in helping resolve this matter.
As for your Sir/madam I have not seen anything come out of your commitment to ensuring that I get assistance since you posted the reply on 23 November 2019.
