Pathetic turn-around time from SBSA Home Loans

My wife and I are in the process of buying our first house, which should be exciting. We sent all the information to my STANDARD BANK Private Banker on 26 March 2015, after which she confirmed that she captured and sent all the info to Home Loans.<br> <br> Home Loans then came back with a lot of unnecessary requests and saying that some of the info is missing, after we sent it to them (Who still uses FAX, honestly, no wonder you loose things).<br> <br> It is now 14 April 2015, almost 3 weeks after the info was initially sent, and I still have not received my answer, I am most likely going to lose the house, due to Home Loans not being able to meet the deadline. Which is unnecessary as I could afford the house on my own, and we app**** jointly. <br> <br> To make things worse, I received an approval from Nedbank within 3 days of submitting the required info, and FNB approved it in 5 days. however I don't want to use the other banks, as I get staff rates from Standard Bank.<br> <br> Absolutely Pathetic.<br>
