Pathetic service

Standard bank menlyn branch is so pathetic no wonder banking is going down the drain. I came to the branch to CLOSE A STUDENT LOAN ACCOUNT. First they stuffed me around and stated i have to pay CASH to close the account of which the settlement amount was over R30 000.00.

Then i stood in a que at the teller to make this payment for over an hour because there is one teller open to help. Then i sat and waited for another hour because the person i needed to see to close the account was also the only one helping hundreds of people.

I accidently paid too much to close the account, so hear this bull$*^#....they could not just pay the overpaid amount back to me???? We are in a bank??? Theres millions in there.. Just pay the balance to me???? So pathetic!!!

Overall service is so poor and pathetic i will never ever do any business with standard bank again. You guys suc****
