Pathetic Service

I experienced problems with my Internet banking while trying to log onto the system, resulting in my suspension of the details. As I am unable to go to a branch because I am currently overseas, I was told after making an international call that the turnaround time for this to be resolved will be by the 7th July, ie 10 working days?????

If I was in South Africa and have walked into a branch then this would have been resolved in 5 minutes. I cannot grasp how can the same request take 10 working days and what is so frustating is the fact that I need my internet banking to do my transactions.

Why is no one attending to an overseas request urgently????? or does it just not matter!!!!!

In addition I phoned the internationally number 3x and had to listen to music for almost half an hour in all 3x instances, still no consideration from your side that I am making an international call.

I have lost so much money trying to contact you and all that I am told, it will be escalated, however there is still time till the 7th of July.

You can refer to my emails send on the 26th to ********** of which I received a confirmation email advising me that if it is urgent then I must call. Following this process, I must still wait the same 10 working days?????

To me this is a worse than PATHETIC SERVICE and I feel sorry for all STANDARD BANK clients who travels overseas and they experience banking problems.

FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS PLEASE MAKE SURE WHAT SERVICE YOU WILL RECEIVE IN ALL INSTANCES.

When told that I will put this on Hello Peter, I was advised they still have to follow a process and have a turnaround time for this type of enquiry. Meaning whether I am in SA or overseas it does not matter to STANDARD BANK

I do not object to processess as this comforts me to know that my banking is being treated securely, however I am upset the timing to fix this problem and to understand the seriousness to get this resolved.

I have given you my email address, copy of my id and a copy of my bank account and I must still wait due to your business turnaround time to look into this enquiry. I was told that this is not an escalation as yet as it is within turound time and even going to Hello Peter will make no difference.

THEREFORE I AM STATING MY COMPLAINT ABOUT THE PATHETIC BAD SERVICE!!!!!
