Pathetic service

On the 16th of May 2024 a subpoena was handed over to the branch manager at Promenade Standard Bank required to hand over to the Registrar of the court my personal bank statements by no later than 22 May 2024. The document referred to a relation to an action pending case. On the 28th of May I personally went into the branch to hear what is happening as I still did not hear from Standard bank. I was promised that I will get my statements not later than the 4th of June as that was the 10 day period noted on the system as a turn around time. Tuesday I emailed the branch again and this was the reply. "We have made contact with the legal department handling Subpoenas and they have informed us that there is a backlog which is delaying them to provide the required documents on time". This is unacceptable due to the fact that no communication was relayed to me or the branch via any notes on profile. The court date is now the 10th of June and I was assured by the Judge that there will be no more extensions. On the same day FNB was furnished with a subpoena and got back to us on 24/05/2024 for statements dating back to 1996. Capitec was able to help me within minutes for statements dating back to 2011. It seems that this is how Standard Bank treats clients. Pathetic service
