Pathetic

<p>I called in Dec 2016 to close my credit card, a gentlemen at the time said he would not charge me the monthly fees for 2 months while I think about closing it. I again called this morning to close the credit card, I was told I can not close it after the asked me numerous security questions because of Fica and because I owe "19c" nineteen cents. I have the standard bank app on my phone and tranfered just over R150 to cover the recent charges and on my phone the balance is cleared. Can you believe this pathetic banks!!! So now I cant close my credit card unless i find time to get in my car and go and FICA at a branch. Whats the purpose of electronic banking??? Why must I FICA to close the credit card, so in the mean time they charge me again! Best I run then!! Its not like im asking for money, I want nothing to do with std bank!!</p>
