Paid more than R40 000, but money not reflecting to statement , no explanation
I have been paying my vehicle for more than 4 years, there were arrears that were shared to me that I owe to standard bank, of which I acknowledged. Later on :they have taken my account to the Lawyers. When I check my statement in September 2021, there was an amount of approximately R40000 that was not reflecting on my vehicle account statement. This is not the first time this scenario happens.
I called the Standard Bank vehicle finance early September 2021 to verify this, they referred me to their Lawyers . I called their lawyers, they also cannot provide information I require as to where did my money go, as the Lawyers have confirmed that I am using the correct account.
I also sent a complaint to their complaint resolution department and I was informed I will get a reference number within 3 working days . There was no reference number provided.
I find it difficult to know how much I owe, and I am still paying . It is frustrating because someone who is willing to pay is treated unfairly and more costs on interest is not fair in this regard. Standard Bank is still failing to let me know where did my funds go to and I do not know how much I owe. I have never been frustrated like this
