paid for life cover that i never recieved

I opened a cheque account a few years ago with an overdraft, I then added life cover on my overdraft when I opened the overdraft facility. In mid December 2014 I closed my cheque account and tried to cancel my life cover on overdraft only to find out that I never had life cover or any other cover on my overdraft, but was paying someone else's account. And if I had died in that time my overdraft would not be covered even thou I was paying every month. I lodged a complaint when I found out and was told they would need to 10 working days to investigate. I then followed up by going into the branch in the new year and by phoning and was told I would be contacted. I'm still waiting for this matter to be sorted out and my money to be refunded
