Overdraft service fee no limit

I was charged an "Overdraft service fee no limit" fee for no reason on 30 November 2024. Earlier this month I had to pay an "honouring fee" when my account balance was too low for a debit order to go off - that I understand. But why is another fee being charged at the end of November? I don't have an overdraft. I see that other people have also complained about this on hellopeter.

I went to the branch on Saturday to clarify the "Overdraft service fee no limit" fee.

The following happened:

1. I was charged an "honouring fee" of R100 on 1 November 2024 for a debit order going off without having enough funds in my account.

2. I was then charged a "Overdraft service fee no limit" fee on 30 November 2024 for having a negative balance in my account during the month of November.

Luckily, the "honouring fee" and "Overdraft service fee no limit" fee is a once off fee (for my mistake).

Lesson learnt!
