overcharged and still no feedback

last month February, I spoke to Surprise from transactional banking department who loaded a reduction order for R970.00 pm to be debited from my cheque account in order to pay off my overdraft. as per our telephonic conversation that lasted almost an hour, I asked him to include all the monthly service fees and interest with my monthly instalment so that I can pay a bulk amount, and that’s how the amount of R970.00 came about. I asked a number of times if it’s a bulk amount and he assured me that it was, I don’t have to pay for service fees on the side. to my surprise I was debited with an extra R304.02 on top of the R970.00 that was debited which took my account into a negative and resulting to it being overdrawn. I spoke to Sarah from Transactional banking who confirmed that my agreement with Surprise was not honored and I’m being charged separate amounts. I asked her to escalate it to her team leader and have them listen to the call and call me back as I want the charges reversed. to this day, I await feedback but every morning I receive a call to be told that my account is still overdrawn when am I making the deposit. I am in awe of the incompetence of std bank consultant. I am beyond repelled that consultants lie to customers just to benefit a sale. it is sickening to receive a call before 08am EVERYDAY to be told by a different consultant who act dump and never make notes on their system about a query you are waiting feedback on. I want those charges reversed and my request honored. it is impossible to finish off your debt with std bank because of their inconsistency and misleading consultants. branch staff is trained differently from the call center staff yet they work on the same product. visiting the branch is like going to an atm yet you know you have a zero balance on your account, you come back with nothing and my visit to the branch brought more frustration. nothing ever gets resolved at the branch and calling these call centers is like deliberately damaging your ear because you listen to the stupid music played while holding for decades. I want feedback
