Over R800 charges for a credit card that was last used last year

I haven't made any transactions on my credit card since last year, except paying every month, yet I've been getting a FinanceCharge of R303, CashFinanceCharge of R473 amongst other charges, I've hardly made a dent trying to pay off the card in over half a year. I understand the other charges, but why is my Finance Charge so high, and what is a Cash Finance Charge when I haven't made any cash withdrawals since last year?
